Meet our wonderful teachers at San Diego Dance Theater by reading their mini-bios below! In class, you can expect them to integrate playful activities with foundational skills,
ensuring every child feels valued and inspired as they learn.
Ms. Gio
Ms. Gio teaches Creative Movement and Ballet/Tap. She aims to create a supportive class environment, where varying expressions of movement are celebrated. Ms. Gio’s favorite type of dance movement is an adagio, or anything slow with a “melty” quality. She loves swimming in the ocean, hiking, camping, and napping with her cat Franklin.

Ms. Erin
Ms. Erin teaches Creative Movement and Ballet/Jazz. Central to her teaching style are the elements of practicing safe movement, and building self-confidence. Ms. Erin’s favorite dance moves are big leaps, like pas de chats and grand jetés. When she’s not dancing, she loves traveling and drinking coffee.

Mr. Ranier
Mr. Rainier teaches Hip Hop. He encourages his students to let their personalities shine in his class as they connect with their senses of rhythm and coordination. Mr. Rainier’s favorite dance moves are “The Carlton” and six-step turns, and when he’s not dancing, you can find him playing video games with his friends!
