Beginning in 1979 my continuous yoga practice has lead to studies in Alignment, Anatomy, Dance/Dance Pedagogy, Kinesiology, Ideokinesis, and a professional career in Dance starting in 1989. I have taught yoga in America, Europe, and Mexico. Yoga for Dancers emphasizes a balanced application of the external and internal. Externally this is in the form of a flowing continuum between individual postures using breathing and meditation. Internally it is in the profound, precise and continual activity of the body within the stillness of the postures. My hope is to facilitate the stability, adaptability, radiance, grace, and directness inherent in everyone and their expression of the dance arts.
